Shawna Omid, DDS
Expert dentist, Shawna Omid, DDS, brings more than 30 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry to her self-titled practice, serving men, women, and families in Torrance, California, and throughout Los Angeles County.
Dr. Omid earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry. She subsequently completed residency training at the VA Wadsworth Hospital (now the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center). Before entering private practice, Dr. Omid served as a clinical instructor in the restorative dentistry department at the UCLA School of Dentistry, teaching students for a decade.
Dr. Omid regularly augments her professional skills by continuing her education in a variety of dental treatment methodologies, including implants, orthodontics, TMJ, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Omid offers both conventional orthodontic treatments such as braces and modern options such as Invisalign®. In fact, as an expert in clear aligners, Dr. Omid holds the title of an Invisalign® Preferred Provider.
As a dentist, Dr. Omid understands the value of continuity in oral health care. Her team works to provide high-quality dental treatment, as well as aftercare, and regularly coordinates with oral specialists as necessary. Dr. Omid always spends one-on-one time with each patient, listening to their unique symptoms and concerns. Mona Nejad, DDS
Dr. Mona Nejad provides oral health services to the greater Los Angeles community. She is committed to creating positive experiences for her patients through friendly, gentle, and conservative care. She graduated from University of California, San Francisco Dental School and went on to pursue advanced training through a residency at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She enjoys providing comprehensive care in all aspects of general dentistry, including fillings, crowns, tooth whitening, root canals, extractions, dentures, and implants. Her greatest joy in dentistry comes from the long-lasting relationships she builds with her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Nejad enjoys singing in an a cappella group, practicing ceramics, and doing power yoga.
